the last of the cherry blossoms at the brooklyn botanic gardens
A few weekends ago, we visited the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens to catch the last of the cherry blossoms before they disappeared for the season. A thunderstorm came through brooklyn the night before and when we arrived, all the pink petals were scattered along the ground of cherry blossom grove. It's been a cold Spring so everything has been blooming later which has made it a bit difficult to schedule our annual trip to the BBG. However, visiting the garden at a different time lead me to discover the pure beauty of Wisteria and Blue Bells. I am seriously in love! I've be very fortunate to photograph a wedding at the Palm House earlier this year and would love to return to photograph a gorgeous engagement session in the gardens. It would be so pretty, right? Here are a few of my favorite photos from our visit. Enjoy!
