- Keep finding my style. I have found my happy place when I'm behind the camera and I plan to be taking as many photos as possible. I want to continue to develop my craft and artistic style in the new year and you only do that with lots and lots of practice.
- Keep Learning. Continuing to learn about photography and how to develop my wedding photography business is my top goal for 2013. I'm heading to WPPI in march, I've signed up for Justin & Mary's What's Next Tour and I plan to attend a few more seminars throughout the year.
- Shoot more film! Ever since I purchased my Mamiya RZ67, I've been using it for my beloved Polaroids. However, I recently shot a roll of Kodak Porta 400 film and I'm smitten with film all over again. There will be a lot more film photography in my future and maybe even in a few weddings!
- Create a schedule. What I learned last year was that I need to create a schedule that allows me to balance my work & home life all at the same time. It's an ongoing process and will take some time to work out all the kinks but learning along the way is half the fun!
- Travel! It's time to take out the passport and pick a place to visit & explore with my husband. We haven't visited a new destination since coming home from Hong Kong and we've got to pick a new place to visit asap!
So, those are some my goals for the New Year, what are yours? Share them here - I'd love to hear from you!
