I stumbled into the Ron Galella: Smash His Camera exhibit at the Clic Gallery yesterday while I was on my way to meet a friend on the LES. It was really great to see these early (and pretty great) paparazzi shots of celebrities in NYC. There were plenty of Andy Warhol, Mic Jagger and Michael Jackson. I liked these photographs because it was before being a "paparazzi" was as easy as going to B+H and buying a digital camera. They capture moments that were welcomed and sometimes not but they are all interesting.
It's a small exhibit but worth the peek inside. Check it out if you can!
