I stumbled upon this book in the Guggenheim Museum gift shop a few months ago. It's a similar idea I had for a book because I'm a little bit obsessed with signage. Store Front: the disappearing face of new york is a unique photographic history of how the city facades have changed over the years. Some look the similar and some you wouldn't even recognize. I love flipping through this perfect coffee table book and trying to find some of my favorite blocks in the city.
